Hey new colleague! We have been where you are, so here are a few survival tips from our side.
<aside> 🌟 Try to meet as many people as possible in the sub-teams and keep an ongoing exchange with them. This is highly beneficial for your daily work at the College and will stimulate a greater team spirit.

<aside> 🌟 Get an understanding of the new leadership culture in the UN that KCLM is also promoting and have a chance to talk to different programme holders as KCLM is the biggest team in the college! Get any chance to meet all colleagues in the KCLM - talk to them, chat about their WHY (what drives them in doing what they do). And last apart from catching up on the learning side of what KCLM does, I'd suggest always to be connected to the UN in the field and content/substance. Go beyond KCLM (meet other colleagues from other teams).

<aside> 🌟 Talk to your colleagues and ask as many questions as you can, participate in the CoPs, take internal courses, the faster you will be independent in your work the better you will feel coming to the office every day and will enjoy your job :)

<aside> 🌟 Speak to people and ask questions to understand roles/functions/modes of delivery/operating models, even if these questions seem obvious/basic. Ask your direct supervisor to organize informal meet-and-greets with KCLM sub-teams/team members in different roles, so that you can get a good understanding of who does what from the onset, and start forming relationships.
